		<description>I think it takes a lot of mental energy to be ready network at all times, but I have always found the payoff to be huge. What you can accomplish when you know the right people is amazing.

Quick example:  Prior to working for myself, I beat out over 40 candidates in two different jobs. Not because I had stellar credentials, but because I knew someone in the company who was trusted by the hiring manager.

I don't know that it was fair, but it's how the world works.</description>
