Weekend Quotes

The weekend is almost here which means we need some inspirational quotes. Part of the reason we post quotes is to get our readers motivated to?put in some hard work and effort?and do the things they have thought about doing for years but have yet to act on. John Chow has a great post titled “Someday Never Comes”?which can be summed up by saying “A Goal Without A Time Limit Is No Goal”.? If you want to make a career change, get a higher paying position, start your own business, or take steps toward growing as an individual, this is the weekend to put your plan into action.? Here are some quotes:

Albert Einstein on Determination: “Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.”

Francis Bacon on Opportunity: “A wise man will make more opportunities than he finds.”

Charles Darwin on Change: “It is not the strongest of species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to change.”

Muhammad Ali on Imagination: “The man who has no imagination has no wings.”

Henry Luce on Decision: “Business is a continual dealing with the future…a continual calculation, an instinctive exercise in foresight.”

Jimmy Johnson on Leadership: “Give people enough guidance to make the decisions you want them to make. Don’t tell them what to do, but encourage them to do what is best.”

Amy Alcott on Confidence: “Concentrate, play your game and don’t be afraid to win.”

Henry Ford on Mistakes: “Failure is the opporutnity to begin again more intelligently.”
